- but was persuaded, & did a test piece. 15 mins & it was great.
So - stuffed courgette tomorrow! White Volunteer. And we've got the seeds as well.
Why bin it Tim?
I'm fairly broad minded, but the flesh looked a bit washy and was also rock hard. And it had been sitting out on a bench for a month or so!
In fact, it cooked up really well. So AGA Baked Marrow today.
So - here it is!!
But a caveat - if, in the AGA recipe, you use ground/minced steak - as opposed to the s/market beef, you need oil to fry it all in.
Looks yummy, Tim, but what's the topping? ???

But if you use steak, as I do, omit the first action - see above.
Actually, now you mention it, I forgot the cheese this time. Still nice.!!
A picture tim. What luxury we live in day to day eh :)
Tim - you have inspired me to follow your example. Have several monsters lying about the place which I would probably end up dumping otherwise. Thank you.
tim,
also you're stuff the mince inside the ring then steam its for 15-20 mins.
Made a oyster sauce pour on top, yummy ;)
Love oyster sauce, Yuet!
How do you steam 8 large rings? On a rack over a large pan? But does the filling not fall out?
You do it when the thing is on the plate? ::)
There's always another way!
Chopped chicken/bacon/roast peppers/soured cream/parsley.
And I remembered the cheese this time!!
Bl**dy hell Tim that looks DELICIOUS! My mouth is watering like crazy now! YUMYUM! Right, going to do that for our supper tomorrow as like so many of you, I seem to have a couple of outside white volunteers waiting to be used!
Well - it worked!!
Meat pre-cooked, of course. You might want to mince the bacon if you find it a bit bitty just chopped.
wow wow wow ::) ::) ::)
have you got any spare ???
please save me one ;D
Drop in??
