Title: help, banana plants!!!

 :-\ the other day i bought a banana plant from a shop somewhere, later that night i researched about them but i could hardly find anything, to top that all off most of it was in foreign languages!!! can anyone help me please.

It would really benefit you if you knew exactly what specie it was you have bought. The term 'banana plant' is now being used to cover many plants in genus Musa. All are bananas but their ability to overwinter successfully, or thrive during a British summer, varies considerably. What are you hoping  to do with this plant? Certainly don't expect to pick any fruit!
