Looks more like an apple chutney to me...

I have a bucket full of apples sitting in the garage waiting ready for the morning to make mine!

How silly of me, course it is,  Apple Chutney.   Never heard of mushroom chutney either.  It must have been the shape of some bits of apple that made me see Mushrooms.    ::) ::) ::) ::)

I can see why, I had to look twice myself, but have apple chutney on the brain at the moment, and anything else I can make with apples to use some of them up!

I saw m/rooms too and drooled, yum. you spoilt it now, apple... not so yum. will imagine more shrooms :P

Yes - Bramleys. Grandma's Recipe. Interesting how much recipes differ. The 'acknowledged English' version is SO different!

Small trouble - found I didn't have enough jars. So we're rushing around emptying 1/2 full things & even using the odd Kilner that that person left me!! Think before act?
