Do you have any Picture manipulation programs, such as Photoshop or Photoplus or Pixela?
There are various Free downloads which will resize programs too. Irfanview is one and other people swear by  various ones. The instructions with them seem straight forward.
The instructions I have are for Finepix which is the one which comes with the Fugi Cameras.

I've tried a lot of programs. On the recommendation of someone on this site I downloaded 'PIXresizer' and it seems very easy to use.

Do you have Microsoft Office installed? If so, then it's easy to resize a picture with it.
Make a new presentation, from the menu at the top, do Insert-Picture-from File and browse for the picture. When you've inserted the picture (ie it appears in the presentation) right-click on the picture and select 'Format Picture'. This will give you a box with among others a 'Size' tab. Click on this and you can reduce the picture to whatever size you please.
Once that's done, go back to the presentation, right-click on the newly sized image and select 'Save as Picture'. This will allow you to save the picture as whatever you wish.

Have a try, it's probably easier to do than to explain.  :)

Hi
This is what you do if you have Windows XP.
Click start/My Pictures/the folder you want
Make sure you have filmstrip view(there are probably other ways but thats how I do it), one click on the photo you want which will highlight it
In the left hand column under File and Folder Tasks click Email this file, a box opens where you select the radio button make pictures smaller, then click Ok.
This will open Outlook Express with the photo as an attachment and already resized.
Just put the email address and your message and its ready to send.

If you havent got Windows XP I can recomend it, its very good for this and many other things, like going back to a restore point where the computer worked before you downloaded that flippin thing that sent everything haywire.

Not so sure about sending photos to this site, the advice given by others is best for that.

Good Luck
Ivor

If you just wanted to resize it, not send it, right click on the attachment and use "Save As", then delete the e-mail
