I'm going to wait till it's issued as an automatic download to test.  Reckon the later I wait the more glitches will have been sorted and patches issued.

There are numerous problems with IE7 which can cause your computer to crash and disable HP products see here http://www.idf50.com/clubhouse/viewtopic.php?t=41990.
this article also gives instructions as to how to block this download when it appears in your update programmes

wouldn't touch IE7 with a barge pole mainly cos i hate MS with a passion.

i'll hang on a bit until i hear some feedback about firefox 2 as well.  i've had enough of being a big company's beta tester cos of the laziness of their programmers.

always been happy with firefox up til now though.

HI

I think that part of the problem is the security tied up with vista.

It stops you being able to record usernames and passwords, i had problems using vista with an older version of outlook and i kept having add the password for my mailbox ( a pain in the butt ).

I believe that in the new version of IE they have locked it down so its almost unusable but you can amend the security to a lower levels but that must stop people blaming microsoft for viruses etc...
