Hello to all.
Thought it was time to get involved after having lurked for so long. Quite shy really !!
Oooh don't be shy, gdman, come on in ;D. and very welcome you are too.
Hi, no need to be shy,
All it needs is a little prompt - something like
"Hello I'm gdman and I'm addicted to A4All!" and from then on you will be fine........ ;D
Seriously, you will find everyone very helpful and friendly here. Just jump in.
Amanda
Many thanks for your welcomes.

Hello Malcolm, you are very welcome, we are all a nice team here information for every need. Rosebud.
Many thanks once again for all your welcomes.
saddad, i live almost in the centre of Cambridge. The weather here has been glorious for the last few days. Shame it's not the same your way.
Tim, i could'nt possibly comment on your part of the world, but only because i have no idea where it is !! :)
Malcolm
Hadn't noticed you were from Cambridge gdman! There's a few of us on the boards. I'm not in the town but a village to the north. Is your site in the centre - I know there are a few hidden away behind the houses in various parts of the town.
Amanda
I've only ever been to Cambridge once, in 1980 to visit a schoolfriend who went to Jesus College.... he now has an allotment in York!

...and I've only ever been to Oxford. :P....marvelled at the greenfly-free roses trailing down over the drystone walls.....how do they DO that?
HYA Gdman, and please enjoy yourself here.....there's no 'hierarchy', no points or stars to be accumulated....just a group of peeps who like growing things and oh! so love having a laff ;D
It's not hard to grow greenfly-free roses. Do it organically, and make sure they're close to cover. Small birds won't go far from cover, and when the greenfly appear, the tits soon move in and finish them off.
Amanda, the site is'nt in the centre, about 3 miles away, but very close to where i live. Know your area well, have relatives all around you, small world is'nt it.
