before I built g/h No. 2 (yes lish TWO), i planted some dwarf sunflower under the hedge that the g/h now runs adjacent to leaving a gap just wide enough to squeeze up there and cut the hedge occasionally.
obviously those sunflowers have now died off but i couldn't be bothered crawling up the gap to dig them out.
the gap is right inline with my chair and i've just seen a blue tit feeding away on the seed heads. only he has found them, so they can be his secret store ;D
infact i've got a garden full of birds this afternoon, sparrows and dunnocks by the dozen, mr robin who still hasn't found his mealworm tray despite standing next to it ! and now a couple of magpies have come to see what's going on as well.
they're all having a party out there.
nice !
sweet :)
try & get a piccie please :)

it's sitting on top of that wall right behind all the fat ball droppings (which have now been swept up).
someone's been at the tray as i had to put some more out tonight. just hope he's found them and gannet sparras haven't munched the lot, they cost a fortune lmao
