Title: Curry in a squash
Post by: Mrs Ava on October 13, 2006, 13:22:29
An oversized round corgette and patty pan made rather sexy bowls for this spicy chicken and squash madrass.  ;D

oo lovely idea EJ :)
I have seven oversized round squash (planted in the middle of the squash patch :-[) - any other suggestions as to what to do with them? They do seem to keep their flavour well and also keeping, but suggestions gratefully received - I'm just a-lookin at them, and they're just a-lookin at me >:( ;)

Now I'd been considering a similar round courgette marrow issue, and wondering if I could scoop them out, throw in some fried onion, bacon and stuff, crack an egg into it, then bake.
Kind of an inside out ommlette. ;D

Might try it tomorrow evening as OH is of out with friends - shove in oven and leave while I lay new floor at that end of kitchen. 8)
