Hi there thought i would share these pic's with you i have never seen these before so had to get some pic's they were taken at Lagdon intake in the Forest of Bowland while we were on a walk there on Sunday.

Those look like fly agaric, Amanita muscaria. Hallucinogenic and somewhat poisonous.

Yes that the name i came up with on Google, I have never seen them before so just had to take a few pic's

Those are fabulous, sjg12.   ;D  I've got quite a few of these in my garden, nowhere near as decorative, but aesthetic all the same I think.  G x

I had a stickhorn.  Thought there was a blockage in the drains, until I sniffed around and found that the smell was nowhere near the drain.  Interesting toadstool, but what a stench!

I've just Googled stinkhorn because I'm not familiar with them.  Now I can see why you didn't post a picture!   ;)  :o  ;D

strangely i am quite attached it :D :D :D
