Dolmades - Today’s recipe, one of 100s!:
Blanch leaves/cut out core/lay out (eventually) vein side up. Don’t know why!
Beef, Lamb. Pork mince. This was the latter. Mix in â€" as fit â€" cooked chopped Onion & Celery/cooked Rice/ beaten Egg/Garlic/Lemon juice/Nutmeg/roast Pine Nuts/Seasoning(lots pepper!).
Roll up in leaves/lay in dish/cover with Stock â€" ours was veg + 2 frozen cubes Chicken + Soy Sauce/ cover & simmer 1 hour. Serve with homemade Tomato Sauce and whatever!
