I work with someone who would like me to grow Menthi ( he called them Indian greens) for them - I googled Menthi and it came up with Fenugreek. I want to make sure that I get the right seeds so I am able to grow it for him. Has anyone grown this before?
I have found Fenugreek seeds sold as green manure, can these be grown for culinary use?

p.s my pc has been fixed now so I can post herre again! Yay!
Methi=Fenugreek. So no problems. They are nice as sprouted seeds as well.
they are like garlic - you will exude fenugreek from every pore after a bowl of methi sprouts which I think is quite nice but not everyone does ::)
Thanks very much - nice to know that we can eat it as well as green manure use. Will order some ready for next year.

Fenugreek, to me, is the Englishman's idea of curry!
But I still love it. And still have a large bag for green manure which never got there.
Yes, good for green manure but I never use it in curries, stinks the house out for days afterwards
I bought a bag of fenugreek seeds from a local indian shop to use in curry. They are really cheap to buy that way. I also grow some sprouts from the seeds. :)
