Title: How to over winter Gerberas?
Post by: wahaj on October 08, 2006, 10:03:37
Hey,

I've got about 6 Gerbera plants in pots. I know they're greenhouse perrenials...but how do i look after them over winter? a lot of them have leaves that are dying quickly. Do they die right down and come back?

I'm assuming i don't water them too much over winter...?

Hi, Wahaj, these are one of my fav flowers.

Last year they died down in my cold greenhouse, and I thought they were dead,we had sooo much cold weather and bad frosts.

But.... they grew again in spring, much to my surprise and flowered :o

So I'm going to do it again this year ;)(I didn't water them over winter)/shades x
