Title: Garlic planting question
Post by: MrsKP on September 29, 2006, 21:35:53
I got my Purple Wight and Solent Wight in the post today.

Now the bed I have in mind for them is currently being used for mustard (green manure).  What would be the consequences if I dug the mustard in now and replaced it with the garlic ?

Good idea/bad idea ?  Am I just rushing the mustard before it's had a chance to do whatever it does ?

Thoughts appreciated as always.

some say that digging in mustard when it is just young seedlings is the best time, any later and the best is gone (bob flowerdew would say this I think), so with that in mind I would say it is fine, no problemo  :)

Good enough for Bob, good enough for me.

Let's hope it's not raining tomorrow.

Cheers. ;D
