The machine, it has given up! (indesit Evolution 1000 WE10
It's coming up with an error code F-05 which doing some research on the net could well be caused by a blocked pump. The machine came with the flat, no manual, and first time it's gone wrong !
Has anyone ANY idea how i can access this pump to removed whatever has got jammed. The people on the forum have listed a dozen things they've found in their pumps but haven't said how to get in there.
I've put a pleading postup but, but feel sure we've got an expert here somewhere.
pleading in a pathetic way smilie !
:'(
am sure an expert will be on their way but meanwhile - if you can find where the filters are on the machine, often at the front bottom you'll see a little door that needs unscrewing and the filters might be there, they'll need cleaning
pumps are quite big so it would have to be a big thing to block it
take it the water's not been turned off
you might be able to down load the manual from the appropriate web site
hope it's not full of water :(
lol only part way full of water. OH unspun jeans nearly caused a tsunami when i hung them out lmao
THAT's the problem, i can't find the access point to the filter. there used to be a handy little access door on all my other machines, but can i ruddy find one on this thing - NO!!!! i've done a search for the user manual, but it's probably on page 438 of google, damned if i can find it.
fuzzem fuzzem.
;D
Its a sock, thats why we all have a drawer full of odd socks ;D

hee hee, registered with them about an hour ago !
their advice was "if you have to ask where the pump is, you should call an engineer".
ANYWAY, with much fiddling, i THINK we have success and not a sock in sight!
11p and a plastic cover to one of the blades of the food processor has been retrieved and we're now trying again.
also found out that people do NOT rate indesit and would never purchase them again.
amazing what you find out when you're looking.
stand at ease people. thanks for your help.

Don't spend your new-found wealth all at once ;D
as HE found it, HE's knicked it ! at least i got my blade cover back lmao
;D
you're supposed to put the food processor in the dish washer ;D
didn't like to say that indesit are ----! always going wrong and the clothes = in-dey-sit for ever and ever
Joanne. haven't you got a daughter-in-law? I don't have a washing machine (kitchen too small) so daughter-in-law does all my washing ;D I am just getting my coat ::) ::)
Only thing i know (just learnt recently !) is not to try to help the wife with the washing by putting the kids brand new school uniforms on a setting called "Boil Wash"
She was not very happy >:(
we were looking for the blade covers the other night, then i found one IN the washing and then this one pops up today (as i knew it would somewhere) but these blessed computer coded things just confuse me (not hard).
WOW lorna ! what a bonus. My mum never had an automatic due to her first one (about 40 years ago) flooding and rotting the floor boards. she made do with a twin tub for centuries.
My kitchen is the size of a small rabbit hutch, but i just could not live without my w/m. Can you imagine having to handwash jeans to fit an 18st, 6'5" bloke ? I don't think so !
and Travman, quick supplementary lesson, NOTHING EVER goes on a boil wash. I don't know why they have all these settings. EVERYTHING goes on non-fast coloureds usually about 40o. I trust you took the children's sizes and went out and bought new ones ? ::)
;D
oh no, what a shame you managed to fix it - you could have had a fab planter, or a spinny fire thingy ....
