Title: Multi coloured Chicken stew
Post by: Mrs Ava on September 27, 2006, 23:03:56
Apart from the bird, everything from the allotment.  Why multicoloured?  Mixed coloured stems from the bright lights chard, mixed coloured dried beans, red tomatos, long green french beans, yellow and green courgette, the chook, and a soup made from the chook bones, a generous dollop of spicy pumpkin chutney and a good glass of white vino.  Delicious!!  Thick and umptious and sweet and spicy and crunchy, and those chard stems have a definate citrus like twang.  YUM!

Oooo, I love the leaves and they are in the fridge.  Ava might have them tonight with his lamb chops, glazed in red gooseberry chutney.  ;D
