Apples from the 2 allotment trees, runner beans enorma have come into their own again, sweetcorn, a late direct sowing of a few left over seed, 12, yes 12 cucumbers from one vine, and there must be 2 dozen babies there and 3 courgettes.

The harvest. Not bad for the last week in September!
No, not bad!!
that looks great EJ ;D. i took a piccy of my own haul from the plot today hope its ok to tag it onto your thread so i can practice putting pictures on. i was amazed how much was still to be picked today; the weather is still so warm down here.
o it didnt work. hmmmm.
That's gonna keep you busy E-J ;) :o ;D
Can't wait to grow my own White Beauties next year :P
Have had a recipe idea suggested by an American chum to use some of the cucumbers.....slice lengthways, coat in flour, then deep fry. She reakons they are delish! I shall try as I have plenty. Am also going to have a go at soup....I think....altho cold soup has never appealed. I just don't know what to do with them. Even the neighbours don't want them!!!!
The harvest looks wonderful, a fine example of what allotments yield at this time of year !
Deep fried cucumber ... oooh, well nothing to lose !
Very impressive indeed, EJ. Quite made my mouth water looking at that haul. ;D

ooh i'm loving the look of the tomatoes! i can just imagine cooking them all together in some sort of soup. or maybe making mixed sundried tomatoes out of....or slow roasting them with beef or something.
*drewls*
Those lemon cucs again.......going to have a go for sure. The harvest looks very satisfying EJ.Still chomping the chard here, disguising it how I can,but had beans, toms, courgettes as well today.
We still have more chard than we know what to do with,.... my toms peppers, chillies are still cropping well..
