I need to find the name of the black sheet you put on your ground as a Weed suppressor, without the name it is proving difficult to find on the net, don't want to use black plastic or carpet etc.

Comfrey will suppress weeds but is a weed itself - albeit a very useful one. Rhubarb will cut down weeds quite a bit as the leaves shade so much. Carpets will suppress everything but are unpopular with some allotment societies.
