Fantastic picture.
I thought mine stood a chance this month, until I saw the bee !
Dan
Congratulations Leonnie, I nearly voted for you, but was stirred by the green hills (pic no 3?).
Excellent picture though :)
Yes indeed, well done Leonnie, cracking picture.
Dan, which picture was yours then?
Leonnie, I thought your photo absolutely wonderful, well done. ;D
Well done Leonnie ;D I thought your photo would run away with the vote so I voted for the monkey taking a piggy back ride which I thought was really well captured :D Whose was it by the way :-\
BTW I didn't enter this month as I did not have a suitable photo......just as well judging by the standard of photography ;) ;D
Well captured pic of the bee. I am impressed by your camera as well and all the other pics in your gallery. My picture was the view of the Grey Mares Tail Nr Moffat. No. 3. The rain had just started and by the time I reached my car I was soaked.....
Thanks everyone :) It was difficult to vote this month because there were so many good photos, I voted for GW's cow but I also liked the monkeys and whose teepee is that, I want one! ;D

Mine was picture 7.
A lovely village not far from The Anderton Boat Lift (http://www.andertonboatlift.co.uk)
Been on that, in a boat!
I agree it was a great pic. As soon as I saw it I loved it. I remember one year we grew some lavatera and the bees were getting covered in pink pollen. well done
Well Done Leonnie!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Many congratulations from me. Well done!!
yes indeed well done Leonnie, its a cracking picture. i really liked the cow aswell.
Hi Dan and Palustris. Anderton was called in to design 4 such lifts in Belgium for the Canal du Centre. They've been superceded now by a huge monster which does all 85 metres in one go for the big boats that roam European canals but the old hydraulic lifts can still be navigated by tourist boats. There's a not for profit organisation that organises tours of the two middle ones and the machine room. Brilliant. They're fabulous and have become a world heritage site. There's also a diagonal boat lift nearby that's worth seeing should you ever stray over to Belgium.
