Title: Eucalyptus leaves
Post by: Barnowl on September 18, 2006, 18:51:46
We have two large Eucalyptus trees in the garden that shed leaves all year round. Does anyone know if the leaves could be used as a mulch - perhaps mixed with grass cuttings? I'm worried they might be too acidic or medicinal(?) or something.

My OH is getting tired of weeding round her fruit bushes.

OOO if you could shred them and release the oils then they would be a good fly deterant...not sure what insects they would repel but would certainly be worth a try!
