I dug up a couple of carrots for tea today, first ones in about 3 weeks, I think they the rain, they've grown a bit since last time.

Can you imagine the size of the rabbits!!!!!!!!!!!

These are St James Intermediate

Wow wow wow!!! Haven't dared to lift any yet, since last year they were non-existant. However this year I have mesh (so I'm quietly confident? not)! ::) ::) Yours are really impressive! :) :)

I've heard of St. James the greater and St James the Less, but never of St. James the Intermediate!

Wow !  jumbo carrot !

I was pleased with my two varieties grown this year, but neither produced anything like the size of that whopper !

no need for glasses up your way then dicky ?

If you're ever in Tunisia go to a local market. You won't believe the size of the carrots on sale. Proof that they need little water and sandy soil!

They are actually called James Scarlet Intermediate, sorry didn't have my glasses on
