Horrible foggy day here!
What is everybody else up to?
Thick, cold fog! ???
Hi damp and drizzly here. Just come back from the allotment where have been cropping loads of things. Beetroot, toms (San Marzano, Gardeners Delight and Costoluto Fiorentino), runner beans (takes the crop to about 25lbs, French beans and eleven butternut squashes from two plants. A cracking day despite the weather :), mind it means making yet more chutney ???.
foggy day here :(
ironing today .........OMG i know how to live it up ;)
Very dull and a bit cool. Went for my walk, put all the Arisaema babies and Agapanthus seedlings in the greenhouse since the nights are getting a bit cold for them. Picked a few more blackberries and crab apples ready for more jam. This affy, I shall probably carry on digging a piece where there is bindweed, in an attempt to clean it out before we build another rock garden.
blimey I do too GW. I was in bed with a cup of tea and a book by 9:30 last night. Friday night...gawd !
Been to a soft play centre with the sproggles this morning and this afternoon we are going down to the beach...hopefully to have a look in some rock pools but dunno if the tide is coming in...or going out (said in a Vic Reeves stylee).
Overcast and a wee bit nippy here...which reminds me our local tv weather forecast man "Bob Johnson" was in the soft play centre. Hob nobbing with the stars me!
Bootiful sunny day here as usual - oh for some rain. Just spent an hour deadheading, weeding, and tidying the garden. Noticed that having waited three months for the first female flower on my butternut vines, I now have around eight baby butternuts. Too little too late perhaps but such is life!
Heldi, just realised we are quite close by!
Well, relatively speaking!
We went up to Mamburgh Castle a couple of weeks ago!
Small world eh!
It was when you mentioned Bob Johnson! 8)
still foggy here!
Cooking a nice lamb joint for dinner though....
done all the housework so if weather improves we'll get out on bike tomorrow!
Been to a birthday picnic today in Jesmond Dene Park, beside the Pet's Corner, Newcastle. Haven't been there for years. It was quite warm but overcast all afternoon and now it is misty. Had a great time, ate and drank and played a few games - lovely afternoon. :) busy_lizzie
I know Pets Corner very well BL. Lived near by and worked near by too!
yes i would say we have gone from the end of summer right into the depths winter here its freezing and the trees have all suddenly lost there colour and vigour!
Still warm here. Broken sunshine.
