Title: Cheeky Sparrows
Post by: Carol on September 13, 2006, 22:53:44
I spotted a family of Sparrows enjoying free lunch in the garden centre at Heighley Gate yesterday.  They had plenty seed to choose from......

Carol I do love the pics of birds. I was having up to 10/12 sparrows on my feeding staion either eating or queuing but the las three days have only seen the odd one Grandson remarked today that the birds hadn't eaten much seed. (he likes to fill the feeders up) Must be more interesting food out in the fields/

I did as well Lorna, flock of up to 40 but now just got 2 or 3 of them, which is a shame, I love watching the sparrows.  I was away in N.Wales for 4 days and maybe they found another food source while I was away.

Unless off course, they too have found a garden centre....

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
