Putting favourites on is relatively straightforward.

Right click on START and select properties.
Select customise ...
In customise, select advanced, then tick the show favourites box ...

when pressing START, your favourites should now appear at the right hand side, along with my docs etc. Hover should pull up all your favourite menu.

I have A4A at the top of my favourites, so it is easy to select ...

Hope this helps.  :)

I assume that means success, I am so pleased for you. Something I noticed a while back, is that you cannot pin shortcuts to websites on the start menu, only programs. Using Favourites seems to be a way around this frustration.

I am glad if I have been of help ...  :)

Of course you could pin Internet Explorer to your start menu and then make A4A your homepage ( Tools/Internet Options ).

If you create a new shortcut to IE and edit its properties (right click / properties) as follows you can launch IE with a named website but not the default page.

Then pin to the start menu or do whatever you want

Here would be the default script for launching IE with the bbc web page change as required.

"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" http://www.bbc.co.uk

Thanks Glow, I have been pondering on that (unsuccessfully) for a few days now. Amazing what a fresh mind can do ...  :)
