Hi all new here
i have just taken on a plot that is covered with raspberries i want to divide them and replant them in lines
ii was just wondering if i could do that this time of year and are there any does and don'ts
many thanks
tim
Do it in the autumn; October would be ideal. I hope they fruit well; when I did that on a new plot they turned out to be riddled with virus and a total waste of space.
hi Robert how would i check to see if they are full of virus they look good at the mo nice and green and there has been some fruit there left unpicked
If the fruit's OK, they haven't got virus. When they get it the fruit almost disappears; mine had a very few really tiny ones, and they spread rampantly.
ok thanks for the info i think i will give them a go
