it's amazing how there's always so much more light inside the bow than outside.
GW. Loved the pics of a rainbow. I don't think you will ever run out of interesting pics to show us. Thank you, (Oh and BTW Judy Garland was/is one of my favourites ;D ;D)

Great pics as usual GW. I was thinking the other night if you are entering one of your pics in the BBC competition The ONE Show. They are asking for entries wildlife photographs. I know you have some crackers. Just a thought ..... ;D ;D ;D ;D
Fantastic pictures GW :o I once tried taking a pic of a rainbow and it didn't turn out at all - couldn't even see it in fact. What's your secret? (Or would you have to kill me? In which case, I'll just keep trying!!)

I'm afraid it's more than just a click. I'm lucky if mine turn out well. You are very talented
I love your photos & always look out for them too. Do enter the competition. PS have you seen the photos in the Guardian Weekend? Sent in by people who have taken the picture the previous weekend, there have been some lovely wildlife photos there & I know we would all love to see one of yours there.

If you've never browsed through here, it's worth it! (though make sure you've an hour or two spare...). Lots of fun for everyone, from kids to pro physics bods. And simulator programs for free download.

The whole site's fantastic and one of my favourites. The chap who runs it is _the_ expert on sky optics. Places like www.spaceweather.com and earth science picture of the day (http://epod.usra.edu/) refer to him!
