At last I've had a Passiflora out which is in range of the camera.

It's been a long time blooming but I love the intense blue of this Verbena Hybrida.

I spotted these Lychnis x arkwrightii Vesuvius in the nursery on Saturday and just knew I had the perfect partner for them - the Arum Italicim.

Georgie. Great photos as usual. Thanks for sharing.

Especially love the Passiflora Georgie.
Thanks both. I've just gathered some seed from the Passifora which, if they take, I'll be pruning much harder than the existing one which is scrambling though the Forsythia and flowering away merrily about 12 feet up. Which is fine but I don't really get to appreciate the flowers. ::)

Pruned mine hard this time and have been rewarded big time. It has been a picture and it went for miles!(well along the fence at the rear of my garden). Will do so again with greater confidencce.
Hmmm...mine is two years old now but the first six foot is simply bear stem. How hard do you reckon I could prune it back?

Love the passion flower, I just can't seem to grow them here.
Pruned mine to about 4ft but that was bare and behind another plant. I'm sure you could take it lower quite succesfully.
Aww, shame Hawkweed. they are lovely plants.
Eek, EM, sounds drastic but I might give it a whirl. Has two chances eh? ;)
