Title: Pickled gherkins
Post by: Sherwood on August 27, 2006, 20:46:15
Has anyone got a simple receipe for these - preferably one in which you can add gherkins as and when you harvest them, instead of having them all ready before you start

Buy your self a nice big jar of them (or a few- They are rather morish)! -Asda do big jars cheaply. Eat them through the winter and keep all the empty jars (and the vinegar etc) then just add some extra vinegar in the spring and fill them up as you go!

With the greatest respect, 'pickled gherkins/cucumbers' are NOT just veg stuffed into vinegar.
