My lad is waiting his GCSE results as well but I don't think there is an ounce of anxiety in him...

Walking to work is a big part of the decision I made to work locally. Poor salary, but peaceful lifestyle.

Aah!! My children always hated this time of the year, only a few weeks left of freedom, and having to put up with all the "back to school" adverts on TV. Also for the older ones the anxiety of exam results - nightmare!!  ::) I hope all of our a4a children do okay and there are no trauma's, can be a very testing time!  :o busy_lizzie

i'm one of those wierd people who like it when they're off school. they're at an age (5 & 8) when they're really good company. i'm definetly not a 'yummy mummy' and love joining in and getting bogin. totally skint though, even cheap day's out tend to cost more than you planned.

dunno how the  8) ended up there,  it's 8 in the preview?

peace perfect peace, washing machines going hell for leather, my musics on the c.d. player, floors are hoovered and washed, beds stripped, washing round the back, windows washed, crap toy's from the £ shop binned, and the dinners cooking.
big mug of tea, giant sized mint and orange aeros, and a4all, pure bliss.
it's starting to resemble a house again instead of a dumping ground.
