Title: chilli blight
Post by: Swede Pea on August 14, 2006, 15:37:20
hello everyone! looks like we are all getting something out of our plots now August is here.

for chilli experts.....is it possible for chillis to get blight? some of them are going a brown/black on 1 or 2 plants whilst the others a looking real good. It is very wierd and noticed it last year on a few chillies, again that only seemed to be on 1 or 2 plants.  Do they need extra treats in the soil?

Any suggestions? ???

It is quite normal for some chili fruits to turn brownish black, if it's only the fruit you have nothing to worry about

I'm fairly sure they don't get blight... or at least show symptoms.. even the toms in the same greenhouse went down with it!
