Title: Hair Scare!
Post by: EmmaLou on August 13, 2006, 19:55:00
Oh dear! Went shopping with mum today leaving my 3 year old daughter with OH. Got home only to find my little girl had been left alone (for 2 minutes apparently) with a pair of scissors. Barbie now has a fantastic punk hairstyle - unfortunately so does my daughter! Aaaaarrrgh! :o

I think we will have to take a trip to the hairdressers tomorrow - although not sure what they can do other than a mullet or buzz cut!
:'(

Same as Tim, mine did it, luckily for her I thought it was funny, hair grows back, other parts of the body don't! :o :o ;D

Ok it is a bit funny! Still my heart sinks whenever I look at her hair.

Both my younger sisters did the same when they were that age. They both had lovely golden ringlets - it never grew back the same!

I cut my eyelashes when I was 7 coz I thought they were too long - oh did I look ridiculous for ages!

Oh well at least it wasn't a finger, or the cats tail! lol

;D On a similar line, when we were very young my ickle cousin an me painted his dads (my Uncle) piano green from the key board down. :o He was a little annoyed as we didn't finish the job properly as we could only reach as high as the keyboard ;D

I have had all 3 of my children give themselves a "haircut" very funny now but not at the time so i know how you feel, one of them cut it before a school photo "nice".

Hubbys mate, years ago, fell asleep in a pub bar. (Had one too many shandys methinks). They shaved off his left eyebrow and the right side of his 'tash!

Seriously, sympathy aplenty here.  Little g'daughter is 6 tomorrow (if she lives that long!) At a friends house on Saturday and playing 'hairdressers'  Fringe now has big lumps missing.  Gonna look great on party photos!  Are headbands still in fashion?
