I seem to remember years ago on a new products program on TV they showed a sprung loaded spade It seemed a very good idea as you did not have to bend so much, does any one know if this item is still on the market and if so where I might obtain one
You sure you didn't see that on April 1st? ;)
No it was in the 70's I think it had a name like Terex which was a similar name to large tippers which was used at my place of work at the time. I have tried a few searchs on the net but no luck even tried ebay still if it was that good I surpose it would be used by every one.
Emma what was review in April?
Thanks
The spade was something you could buy a while back, not seen it around for awhile but no doubt a real search will 'dig-up' a supplier. It was brought out to help people with back problems. Surprisingly it actually worked. Bit slow and needed a bit of practice but none the less, it did the job.
This might be a starting place.

Dear Len,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Yes Wolf Garden used to do the Terrex spade, but they don't anymore.
It's a shame as I get lots of enquiries for it.
I have now
Put out a trawl for a second hand one
Thanks for the help
Len
