An impressive crop, and a wonderful turmeric colour too !

I have a self seeded plum called Warwickshire drooper (allegedly, as I have been told by local gardeners), which give a pale yellow plum, which the wasps adore. Because the tree is not on a dwarf rootstock, I am trying to festoon it so the fruit is easily accessible. Sadly, this has resulted in some broken branches from my clumsiness. In general though it appears to be working.

Jenny, I love the look of your yellow plums.  Do you know what variety of plum tree it is?  We want to buy some more fruit trees and I would love to have plums like yours.   :D

OK, I know that this is not the place, but I have become a plum addict, have pickd in excess of 20 lbs plums for friends and family for jam making - this weekend have picked a further 47lbs all from 1 tree! ;D

I now have plum jam, plum jelly and plum crumble to last til next year, and plenty more to pick! :)
