Title: Tomatillo??
Post by: tilts on August 08, 2006, 21:54:16

Found lurking around the allotment hedge about a month ago, staked it  as i like the veined stems and flowers, now Approx 4' high.  Pale blue/lilac flowers vvvsimilar to tomatillo yellow ones.  Husks containing v small fruit.  Anyone know what it is? Is it safe?

Probably not, with you eyeing up its fruit. Any chance of a pic?

It's not Morning Glory is it?  That'll give you a bit of a surprise if you eat it!

I think it is Morning Glory! It certainly looks like the ones my old hippy friends grow!

Any other ideas?
