Spoke to her yesterday and their puter crashed after they upgraded their Virgin ISP to 7 bigger something-or-anothers.

Told her, no wonder! Mission Impossible! Everyone knows there ain't no virgins in Newcastle ;D

Hope she gets back here soon.

Eeek. Virgin promised me that upgrade ages ago and haven't heard a dicky bird since. Hope it doesn't happen to me but have ordered a new computer just in case... ;) Come back soon Heldi!

Hee hee Rosebud!

Jill you are asking a complete computer dunderhead here. What happened was that as soon as the upgrade happened the pc became very glitchy. It kept throwing me offline. It's my OH who has the account with Virgin so I asked him what was going on and he said they had said that it may be like this until it settles down in a few days. After about three or four days I was thrown offline and couldn't get back on at all for another three or four days. I asked OH to find out what was going on but he couldn't be bothered to find out and said it was definately a problem from Virgin's end not our end and that we just had to wait for the problem to be sorted out. I tried to come online this morning and bingo..there it was all fixed! ;D

;D Heldi. Well in that case perhaps I should be grateful that you were the Virgin guinea pigs and by the time they get to my oh so long promised upgrade all the glitches will be sorted and everything will be ace! Thank you! ;) ;D
