Title: Purple Sprouting Broccoli
Post by: Looby Loo on August 04, 2006, 13:02:50
My lovely little PSB plants have been eaten by slugs.  I put them out to catch what little rain we had one evening and now all I have is little stubs.  Is it too late to grow more from seed?  I've tried all the local nurseries but no-one has any plants left

:'(

Stubs? Don't discard until there is no further hope. Some may regrow.

New ones? A bit late I would have thought? Have you tried Organicplants? They might just have some July stuff left??

Were you planting out for next Spring.  If so you should still be able to get plug plants from Dobies or Marshalls.  They may be mixed with other varieties of cabbages etc. but if you can share it will help.
