Going away next week for a few days. I've cobbled together an irrigation system for the toms in the greenhouse (in pots) but some of the drippers are dripping too fast while some are at the correct speed. Should I risk overwatering them - the'll probably be quite sodden for the best part of three days or shall i just give them a good soaking once then hope for the best. Any suggestions?
Should think they'll cope ok with overwatering if its only for three days :)
Assuming you have drainage holes in your pots, so the plants don't drown, then cool feet at this time of year should be ok for a short period. The alternative is that the plants will dry out and get distressed. No contest really.
