STOP IMMEDIATELY
;D ;D
Name please, Wiz?
no idea t :(
maybe RB will be able to help.
I was afraid someone would say that! I've no idea where I am with most moths, there are so many of them and I don't have a proper moth book. What size was it?
1.5cm
There are loads of them. Without a proper moth book, I'm lost on that.
where's angle shades when you need her :P
I think it could be the corn moth :-\
so called because it likes to feed on stored foods
Could be, but there are several that do things like that. I had a look in the Collins 'Guide to Wildlife in House and Home' and there's nothing very specific there. It doesn't mention this one, unless it's there under another name, nor the Lesser Wax Moth, which has been raiding my wax stores.
I'm here MrsKP ;D,Gypsy moth?Garden Carpet? what do you think Robert? I've taken a pic of a moth today I also cannot id in my moth books, hot weather bringing them over here?/regards shadesx
lot of good you were :P
Could be Gypsy, but Garden Carpet doesn't look right.
If anyone has a few hours to spare, they may find the moth listed here!! ;D ;D

That's why I need a decent book. The d**n banks have been keeping me poor, but I've just issued claims against three of them totalling over four grand, and more to come, so I should have the funds for a book or two before long! It's ever so much easier to flip through a set of pics, then maybe use a website to confirm the ID.
