Your guess, Sarah!

Any/all of those that I put in 2006 Veg Show. SHE (No1 Daughter, the grower) doesn't separate them

Just checked - 12lb nett!

In passing - left the Runners to their fate because they looked 'past it'. But dear Wife picked them tonight & they were GREAT!! No stringing. Yes, a couple just gave us the seeds, but those are great too.

Strange that, Yuet? Normally no more than 60 days to maturity.  And self-fertile?

Svea - in moderation. But Daughter has a 'thing' about them. Doesn't know when to stop sowing them. But our neighbours love them!!

Bought a packet of Lab Lab beans this year - but never got round to planting them due to already having overdone things on the bean front  - can empathise with your daughter there Tim.! Ask me next year Saddad.......... ;D

Tim,

They're great. Well done.

Our runners have been terrible this year, I picked only 4 beans earlier from 34 plants, which hadn't been picked over for a few days. With 2 different varietes in two different parts of the garden I can only blame the dryness or the huge black bees that have scared off the bumble bees...

I can't wait for the haricots to start producing like yours.
