Awwwwwwwww almost makes me want another one......................almost! ;D
How adorable! I remember 'helping' Daddy with the runner beans when very small. My favorite was helping Mummy shell peas..

Tim, there's a child in the lovely photo of your roses & tomatoes! :o I'm sure one of my gardening books has them listed as an official pest!!!!! :) Is he doing a bit of "live heading" in that top one?
Only joking, of course, what a cute kid!
great pics t :)
Does anyone want to BORROW him for 10 minutes??
PLEASE!!
Oooh, yes please! I miss having little ones around the house and still have my Brio...
Oh dear, what's he done to upset his Grandad?
T.
My gdaughter Lucy would like some questions answered! ;)
"Who's that?"
"What's his name?"
"Can I see him?"
He looks very intrested Tim, keep him at it, if you teach him half of what you know he will be a very clever chap when he grows up.
gorgeous wee guy tim, and your greenhouse looks laden!! now be honest, we all know you're really chuffed to have a wee one around who appears to be really interested in all his granda does?
Anne - for Lucy - Gabriel - almost 2 - youngest Daughter's 3rd - the LAST of the breed - ??

Wendy - no upset - just an explorer - can't let him out of your sight for one moment. More dangerous with the broom than the cobweb brush!

My favorite was helping Mummy shell peas..
I was eventually relieved of pea-shelling duties as few peas actually made it as far as the pan. ;)
That just has to be a Scottish expression, weedbusta?
Meaning he who is weaned??

We were made to
whistle when we shelled the peas. ;D
i always thought it was sort for wee'un. i don't think a wean has to be weaned to be a wee'un!
;D
Simple as that?
weans (pronounced wains) is a scots term, probably something to do with weaning , but weans are weans from birth until you send them off into the great wild world with a suitcase and a pot of daffodils. i don't know where other than in glasgow it's used, but it's the more common term for children. we also say 'wee yin', but wean is the more common term.
yes yes yes....very cute, but just check out your jungle! Wowzers - looks like my idea of heaven! No wonder he is nosing around in there. When number one son was that age, he busied himself in my greenhouse and picked every single green tomato for me and brought them in to me in a pot....hmmmm....
