Certainly considerably cooler... but hardly winter just yet... even with the fleece and the Asparagus looking "frosted"

As long as it rains plenty, I don't care!

I'm happy to have the rain back. Been so long, I forgot what the windscreen wipers were for!

Chilly and windy here today, only 15°C on my patio.

I don't think it will last though, the heat will be back soon.

Barrie  met a new neighbour last night!! turns out that he works in Exeter at the met office. They are predicting that August will  be hotter than July, and that the hot weather will continue into September. Good for my sweet potatoes, and our holiday in Cornwall, but we have now run out of water at the lottie, and things are really suffering.

I've noticed that metcheck is showing temperatures hovering around 15C for the next few days, as opposed to around double that a week ago?
