How are the rest of you getting on? Last year they dried out and gave up at about 4'...
Not my plot but cultivating a bit for my neighbour who had an heart attack!
Has nobody anything to say... feel like I'm talking to myself here!
;D
Hi saddad - I'll talk to you!! I don't have any achocha to compare with you though, in fact had never heard of it until now but like the look of it! Googled it and found a blog of someone who has grown it and they said... "In a good year, this is a plant that willl take over if not controlled..." Yikes! Have you eaten any of the pods yet?
:)
It does look enticing saddad - 24 million dollar question, what does it taste like? :o :)
Well- I did try this, but all my plants were slugged :(
This was my first ever crop that I lost entirely to slugs, but i did only have a couple of plants. I'm mighty jealous of your achoa!
How are fruits?
Truffle
Mine are doing well Saddad. I sowed 6 seeds and they have all survived :D The shape of the leaves did have me thinking I was growing an illegal substance for a while ;)
