Your cut down raspberry canes this year make fab sturdy pea sticks for next 8)

how do you deal with the thorns, if there are any?

 ??? No thorns in raspberry canes and they're beautifully straight and sturdy. Just this years crop, ie last years canes, when they've darkened and need to be removed to make way for the new growth (light green) to fruit next season? Hope this helps.

ah ok, i guess only the green bits are a little thorny. ok, well as i am about to cut out my raspberry canes, i will see what can be used :)

I cut down the Autumn Bliss in Winter, they are still thorny!!!
