I'm growing Pink Bannana Squash for the first time this year - and it is wonderful - looks fantastic on the wigwam and producing stacks of great big squashes.
I'm sure I was given the seeds by some kind person on this forum - but am ashamed to say I can't remember who! I just wanted to say a great big thankyou to whoever it was. x :D
Pics please Squashmad, they sound interesting
Will try to take some later - at work at the moment and Parish Council tonight!
I've had a very hectic weekend - digging the garden where we are going to put lawn - watering my 2 allotments - looking after a neighbours hens and rabbit - looking after a friends greenhousese --- etc etc -- so I still haven't got my camera out - but here is a pic of Pink Banana Squash from the web --

In veg it seems normal for this shape to be described as 'banana', like the banana tomatoes, which are the same shape.
Thanks amphibian, I didn't know that, so much to learn, so I suppose that my banana shallots aren't going to turn out like boomerangs then ??? ;D ??? ;D :D
I tried it a couple of times but never got very far beyond germination... so well done!
;D
They look great! Let us know how they taste.

Afraid not, they'll be much the same shape as the banana squash.
