Hahahaha  had it as chard aloo tonight!  Being we were having curry, its a Madjur Jaffrey recipe we love! Can post it if you would like?
I just use it as I would spinach, quiche is nice, stir fried with onion, garlic and bacon is good too.

It's lovely in a quiche with some strong cheddar.... or in a lasagne in place of spinach.

Yes just the leaves - according to Bob Flowerdew you can cook the stems and do them in cheese sauce, but I haven't tried that.

Lovely shredded (the whole lot, leaves and stems) and then steamed and served with loads of butter, and a bit of salt.

Also nice shredded again in a minestrone/ribbolita-type soup: diced onion, potato, celery, carrot, shredded chard, some dried beans, tin or two of toms, and a few handfuls of soup pasta. I dice the stems for this.
