I'm putting a link to pictures of my plot last year before you tell me off for being too messy   :-[ :D

I gave my son the marigolds and let him do whatever he wanted. He has become quite keen on growing flowers since then so fingers crossed.

and they say the camera never lies...mine does!

Thanks GW.  I have to admit to not being as diligent as I think some folks are. I have to go to the allotment every day but sometimes once I've fed and watered the hens I can't be bothered with doing anything else...those water drinkers are really heavy some days! I get to feel a bit guilty and think I'm too lazy but to give me a break from the guilt trip I do remind myself that I have an awful lot of the worst weeds, mares tail, bindweed, ground elder, couch grass, brambles, after the plot was unused for so long. It takes ages to dig over the ground.I always tell myself even a little bit of something is worth it. I have one more area that I need to break the back of. Oh but digging out all those roots..in this weather...perlease!

;D
