A Drill?

or as we are very into abbreviations, how about a GOA??

(Group of Allotmenteers)

Well, maybe if we choose a word and define it as a group of allotmenteers, it will make its way into the Oxford English Dictionary with that definition!

From personal experience I would have to offer "An Addiction of Allotmenteers"

But Ace's suggestions are inspired!

Lovely ideas...but have to object to a 'potter' for ladies...

We can dig as well as the best of 'em, when we have to . Of course a strong spade merchant helps, but then we get left with ' I need a shower darling' ....'gin and tonic'......'supper ready then?'

Enough said?

Love this thread! My favourite so far is "a glut". Or how about "a Self-sufficiency of allotmenteers"?
