wow c
a place to add to the ever increasing list ;)
we passed through kelso on our way to lindisfarne a couple of weekends ago
how much to get in?
A large part of the garden - the lovely bit - is free as it's attached to the garden centre. I'm sure it encourages people to buy when they see such lovely beds - great marketing!
Such a beauty carol, what are the pink flowers with the grey foliage? They look wonderful. I wonder if people have open air marriages under that rose arbour? ::)
GW. When you come down follow the Coffee shop signs and go through the Floors Estate Gates (not going near the Castle). There is a good coffee shop there and can sit outside and feed the friendly blackie and look onto these borders. This is attached to the Garden Centre. There is also a free Walk round the estate, takes about half an hour and you can walk past the Castle free. Well we do!!!! It would be a nice day out for you from where you are and also Kelso is worth a visit as well. Hows that for Scottish Borders tourism. Now where are the peregrines up your way :o :o :o :o I have been there several times.
Sarah. Open Air marriages in them gardens would cost an arm and a leg likely. Charged by the Duke of Roxburghe.
thanks C..........free garden i like it ;D
