Title: cherry recipes???
Post by: OliveOil on July 22, 2006, 16:20:25
At my school we have 4 huge cherry trees which the birds have left alone.. i have two big tubs of cherrys and i'm at work on monday so going to collect more cherrys then.

Anyone have any fab cherry recipes???

We have morello cherry trees and some bright red cherry's too on anotehr tree - they are ALL delicious.

Cherry liquer with your morellos?

That looks simple and tasty!

Perhaps an apricot/plum tart/cake river cafe stylee? Ooh and I have a Jamie Oliver breakfast cherry foccacia I could find if you're interested.

I'd be tempted to do a cherry, redcurrant and raspberry jam too if you have some of those.

look at this link to Bellebouche's blog. Since reading this recipe for Cerises en Aigre Douce, I've been longing to get my hands on some cherries. What a fab recipe!
