Title: Learn French CD's
Post by: sally_cinnamon on July 20, 2006, 13:16:58
Hello all,
Did anyone collect the Learn French CD's in the Daily Mail last week?  I did but missed a few and wondered if anyone had CD's 1,3,8 and 9 and were willing to do a swap/share for the others?
;)

Sally, just a thought. Met a friend today who'd missed out on some Italian CD's from the Mail; he's getting them on e-bay.

Is your friend missing CD 1?  He can have mine if he wants, one new language at a time is quite enough for me!! :o ;D

Thre CD 8 (or was it 7) in the hallway bin last night - will have a look tonight.  It's ok: we use that bin for paper: no scraping off any gravy!

That'd be okay - I like gravy!  Thanks for looking, much appreciated...

Alishka - will keep hold of it for you - PM the address when you get it....

Sorry, I was wrong, what I do have up for grabs are:

Michael Thomas, Daily Express discs 6 & 7
Learn French in  aweek, Daily Mail, disc 2

Was going to collect them all until my IT-God brother said he had a complete tutorial set on MP3 so decided to spend the money on a blank disc instead.

Thanks for looking anyway bennettsleg - I think I might take Alishka's tip and go hunt on ebay for the others.

Katy - disc received yesterday, is downloaded and (hopefully) infiltrating my brain!  Fingers crossed I will be able to order a glass of wine and some food by october...

PS Did anyone watch that learn french thing on tv with esther rantzen (sp?) last night - so funny when marcus asked for four ****holes instead of four ducks!!! Heehee!  (shouldnt laugh, I can see that happening to me... :(  !!)

Haven't watched the esther rantzen thing, but the accompanying BBC website has got some excellent interactive 'Learn French' stuff
