Title: So frustrating sometimes!
Post by: jellywelly on July 17, 2006, 10:13:34
So, my courgettes have been flowering for about 2 weeks - all female flowers.  This morning I walk past and they are flowering - all male flowers!  They really need to get their act together.  Sometimes this gardening lark can be very trying

I know, I have had the same problem and ended up borrowing a couple of males from my neighbour and embarking on some hand pollination...felt a bit rude really!!!  I got 4 courgettes for my efforts though today :)

Are we supposed to pick the unfertilised girlies off or leave them to shrivel up? I feel a bit sorry for them
